to capture her adorable children for their upcoming birthdays!!

{Baby Alyssa: Full Post}

You know how some people you instantly like? Conversation seems to flow, they are so cool, you can't understand why you've never been friends with this person before? Well, that is how I feel about this family, or more so Roseann. Baby Alyssa's gorgeous mother! She & my husband worked together for a while and I always remembered him telling me I would really like her. Well as usual, he was right.

I was so excited when she contacted me and asked me to capture their new arrival. Excited to meet her and to meet this beautiful baby girl. I LOVE new babies!! If I could have a new baby around for ever I probably would. But I will settle for being able to photograph all their newness. A newborn holds so much hope for the future. You look at them and see innocence and purity. It's a love that can't be explained!! And it was my honor to capture it for the Adams family.

{Hot Pink Cheer Team}

Last night I had the awesome experience of following around these darling little

cheerleaders as they were invited to the LA Kings game to perform and then hi-five the players

in the tunnel. What a great little bunch of gals!! Great parents!! And wonderful owners in Katie & Karen!! And a fabulous coach!!

It was crazy & chaotic! Loud & confusing! But tons of fun!!!

This was a new & unique experience for me!! One I loved & learned from!!

{Baby Chicks}

As a mother of 4 my life is busy in a way I could never understand as a young mother of 1 or 2. As my children get older, life gets more and more filled with this, that and the other.

When I had only a couple kids, i had plenty of time to cuddle, read and kill time with my littles.

More kids = less time at the expense of my littlest two.

Our baby chicks don't stay baby chicks for very long and I feel like time is slipping away from me.

The other day as I was getting ready Camden had taken her post on my bed to watch cartoons.

Before long she fell asleep. She was freshly bathed, smelled delectable and was only wearing her diaper. {for the record, that is the perfect combination to snuggle against}

Before I climbed in next to her, I opened up all curtains and blinds in my room,

filled it up with tons of light,

and snapped some shots so I could remember this day,

this moment forever.

My chicks are my world, my life, my reason for being.

The warmth, love, and trust of this little chick keeps this mama moving.

I am such a lucky gal to be able to call these guys family. I have known Stephen since he was 12 years old and watched him grow up to be a wonderful, hardworking husband and father. And he picked the coolest girl to marry. Natalie is so much fun and I love having her as a sister in law. And she is my hair stylist and is AMAZING!!!

Their daughter Marlie is the spunkiest, funniest little girl and I love her to pieces. It was such a pleasure for me to be able to take their family pictures!!!
