Capri & Julia {Baptism Shoot}

I was extremely lucky to be able to shoot these darling girls as they are embarking on a wonderful journey.  In our church you are baptized at the age of 8.  When you can be accountable for your choices.  And these cousins are long a few weeks apart in age, and are able to share their baptism day with each other.  I was asked my their mothers to capture them in their new white dresses.  

I loved this sweet shoot.  These girls are so excited about their big day and even more excited that they get to spend it together.  

This age is so wonderful to photograph.  Their little personalities just radiate through the lens.  

I hope I captured their innocence and sweetness for their mothers.

I had the chance to meet Amy & her darling kids through my sister Lauren.

They were so much fun and took me to the greatest spot so snap their family.

I love meeting new people.  My sister is very lucky to have such a wonderful friend in her life!!

I love her to pieces and as her 2nd birthday comes up in the next couple weeks and

I am preparing her birthday shoot, I am reminded how fast time flies by us!!

{Baby Alyssa: Full Post}

You know how some people you instantly like? Conversation seems to flow, they are so cool, you can't understand why you've never been friends with this person before? Well, that is how I feel about this family, or more so Roseann. Baby Alyssa's gorgeous mother! She & my husband worked together for a while and I always remembered him telling me I would really like her. Well as usual, he was right.

I was so excited when she contacted me and asked me to capture their new arrival. Excited to meet her and to meet this beautiful baby girl. I LOVE new babies!! If I could have a new baby around for ever I probably would. But I will settle for being able to photograph all their newness. A newborn holds so much hope for the future. You look at them and see innocence and purity. It's a love that can't be explained!! And it was my honor to capture it for the Adams family.
